Navy Program Policy Analyst

The Meridian Group seeks a Program Analyst, with active Secret clearance, to support the Department of the Navy’s (DoN) telecommunications utility (TU), facility-related control systems (FRCS), and cybersecurity portfolio.

Position Description:
Navy Program Policy Analyst will:

  • Support Program Manager in development of strategy, updating policies, and creating concept of operations in alignment with the National Defense Strategy, National Infrastructure Plan (NIPP), Communications sector, and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
  • Establish operational governance structure and coordinate with DON Region stakeholders to identify and define program objectives, policy benefits, project requirements, scope, and identify/manage risks.
  • Support the development of the overall approach, major time frames, metrics, and the definition of major deliverables to address and meet the DON’s infrastructure goals.
  • Maintain a standard project management methodology across all project plans, timelines, and key documentation to ensure reports are centralized, up-to-date, and distributed effectively.
  • Champion, manage, and influence cross-functional strategic planning and business planning processes by leading conversations with key stakeholders to conceptualize and develop program roadmaps, funding and resource planning, and other impactful initiatives.
  • Research, collect, evaluate, and continuously monitor sensitive or classified deficiencies from assessments and inspections.
  • Enhance data collection procedures to measure and improve Naval readiness.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

  • 2-5 years experience in Department of Defense program management
  • Policy writing
  • Possess and maintain active Secret clearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, organizational, and problem- solving skills
  • Proficient in technical writing
  • Demonstrated ability analyzing and/or developing methods and procedures; and interpreting policies, standards, and guidelines
